Exceptionally, tents at the trekking huts

Due to the current Corona development and the new Corona Protection Ordinance in Saxony, it is no longer possible to spend the night in the trekking huts from Saturday (October 24th). In order to still give forest hikers the opportunity to stay overnight in the forest with supervision, from 24.10. Until October 31, 2020, camping is permitted at the trekking huts. The same rules apply as on the bivouac sites (max. 5 two-person tents, 4 to 10 a.m. the following day, € 5 care fee per adult, € 1 care fee per child). At the end of the Forststeig season on October 31, 2020, the permission to camp at the trekking huts also ends.
