Forststeig joint day of action on Saturday, March 21, 2020

Before the start of the 2020 forestry season, the Sachsenforst employees invite you to a joint day of action on Saturday, March 21, 2020. Interested parties can help maintain and repair the route and the facilities of the forest trail on this day. The following work is planned: - Renewal of route markings - Clear route sections and rest areas - Construction work on path facilities and on the bivouac sites - Renovation and maintenance work on trekking huts All working groups are supervised by employees and helpers from Sachsenforst. The schedule of the day is planned as follows: - 9:00 a.m. meeting at the national park station in Bad Schandau and division of the working groups as well as health and safety instructions - From 9:30 a.m. transfer into the forest with the Saxony-Forest driving service and execution of the work - Return until approx. 4:00 p.m. with the Sachsenforst service to the Bad Schandau National Park Station For logistical reasons, participation in the action day is only possible after prior registration! Participants should bring suitable weather and terrain-appropriate work clothing and work gloves themselves. The lunch catering as well as material and tools are organized by Sachsenforst. We ask all interested helpers to use the registration form below to register with us by March 15th, 2020 for the day of the campaign (email, fax or letter).
