Start of the new trekking season without forest overnight accommodations in the forest

In order to enable day tours on the Forststeig Elbsandstein during the extended Easter holidays, the route will be open and accessible from March 27th, 2021. A detour will be signposted so that the Czech section of the route can be left out. The forest overnight accommodations, both trekking huts and bivouacs, cannot be opened on March 27th due to the applicable corona protection measures. We will inform you about this here as soon as the forest overnight accommodations can be opened.
