Multi-day tours on the forest trail is possible again - but ...

all forest accommodation sites remain closed. We are currently working on the development and implementation of a concept so that we can probably reopen the bivouac sites from May 25 this year in compliance with the contact and distance regulations. Please keep yourselves informed about the latest developments on our website. Multi-day hikes are though possible through the cooperation with our forest trail partners (see Partner accommodations and Service). Some of them are looking forward to welcoming guests again from today. For example, the Café Drehscheibe in the national park railway station in Bad Schandau is open daily from 9 to 17 o'clock. Also, the Bergwirtschaft on Papststein is open on May 16 and 17 from 11 to 18 o'clock and from May 18 onwards regularly from Mondays to Wednesdays 11-18 o'clock and from Thursdays to Sundays 11-21 o'clock. Overnight guests are welcome again at the Alte Gärtnerei in Gohrisch, the Alter Gutshof Papstdorf and natürlich Wolf in Pfaffendorf by advance booking. Our equipment partner Globetrotter in Dresden indicates the limited opening hours Mon - Fri 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
