Restrictions due to corona regulations

The hiking route Forststeig Elbsandstein will be open again from April 3rd. The current regulations for slowing down the spread of the corona virus must be observed. Crossing the border between the Czech Republic and Germany is not possible. A diversion is therefore marked on the German side. This leads after the Taubenteich along the old border path to the Fuchsteich, here a little way away from the border and then along this until the normal forest trail route coming from Tisa meets the German-Czech border. Attention: The continuation of the route around the Bielatal cuts the division several times. Pay attention to the green and yellow posts. The forest trail is currently only available for locals. For the time being, hikes may only take place near the place of residence until April 20, 2020. Overnight stays on the route are not possible. The forest overnight accommodation (forest huts and bivouac areas) will remain closed until May 4th, 2020.
